About this tool

HushNotes is a native Mac notes app in your menu bar, so you never switch away from what you are doing to write something down.

Save text from any app: select it and press Option + Shift + Space. Floating notes stay above every window, and note windows stay out of Zoom, Meet and Teams screen shares while you still see them. Search every note and lock the private ones.

$9.99 once, no subscription, no account. Native Swift, macOS 14 or later.
