MyEye is a mobile app, with a companion web site, that analyses a close-up photo of an eye. Computer vision identifies the dominant and secondary colours in the iris — brown, blue, green, hazel, amber and grey — and returns a rarity percentage together with a map of where that colour is most common in the world. A separate enhancement pass sharpens iris detail, cuts glare and lifts contrast, which is what most people actually use it for: a shareable close-up portrait of their own eye. It also produces a personal eye-colour code and a short written description of the individual iris pattern. The rarity figures it works from are published openly on the site — green around 2% globally, hazel around 15%, blue 8-10%, brown 70-79% — so the numbers behind a result can be checked. The app is free on both the App Store and Google Play with no subscription required. It is a consumer curiosity and photo tool for people interested in their own eyes, not an eye-health or vision-screening product, and it makes no medical claims.
